BFM 27-5-09

Today we worked a little more on our Speeches. We are presenting in a week. So far we have done enough work according to the time line. We where in the class room ut yassy and meg wern't here so paige and i kept looking for a song to put on our myspace profile. Again we got really distracted and off task but by the end of the lesson we found the perfect song, its calles 'sunrise to sunset' by paul wright. It is a very insperational song so it is good for encouraging.

We will play the song in the background of our profile while we are doing our presentation. I think my myspace is coming along well, we just to work on our speech.

BFM 18-5-09

Today in class we made great progress on our assignment. We have alot of work on our Myspace page, which we still have to finish by adding more blogs to the myspace page. We are a bit stressed because the Oral is in a week so we worked really hard today and did alot of our assignment. Meg is a fast typer so she types it as we all call out things for her to say. It works really well as we all get to have our say whenever we want. When we work like this we get alot done, so our lesson was well spent. The draft was was due today at the end of the lesson so we had to work really hard to get that done. We had all done our separate parts, we just needed to put them all together, which we had sucessfully done by the endo of the lesson. We still have a fair bit of work to do on our speech for next week, so hoefully we will finish that by next lesson, then we can just rehearse our speech for monday.

BFM 13-5-09

Today in class, Meg, Yassy, Paige and I, logged onto our new 'Ronald McDonald' Myspace page and added some pictures to the profile and changed some things. Meg and i got distracted looking for a song to add to my profile, with all the time that we spent looking for a song we never found one. I am going to look for a good song for homework that i can use for our profile.

It was hard looking for an appropriate song because it has to relate to charity and be a sad song. It can't be an upbeat rap song as that is not related. In class our group was very off task, and we got frustrated because the internet kept freezing and in the end we gave up.

Next lesson i want to get more of our profile done so that we can start working on a script for our final oral presentation. :)

BFM 11-5-09

Today in class my group organised what charity we would do. after a lot of reachearch, my group (Meg, Yassy, Paige, and I) decided to do the Ronald Mcdonald gouse charity. We decided to do this because it relates to younger people. To sell our charity, we have decided to create a myspace page and raise awearness about the charity.

We have also agreed to create a profit, if you donated $50 to the charity, you will recieve a 10% discount at McDonalds. We had to have a debate about this because we decided that we could not say this to the public as it is not true, so we made a discission that we would just create it as a visual for our group oral. Meg and i thought that it would be good to come dressed as Ronald McDonald, then we could pretend that we where him.

Our group worked really well togetyher today, adn alothough we came across some problems, such as agreeing on a charity, in the end we worked it out.
